About Us

The overarching thrust of IBLearns.org is to identify, organize and deliver educational resources that are aligned to IB World School Learning Outcomes. A second major thrust of IBLearns is to provide teachers with easy-to-use integrated classroom tools that enhance their teaching effectiveness.

IBLearns.org currently provides:

• Access to all IB World School Learning Outcomes that are searchable by Learning Outcome, Assessment statement, Programme, Subject Area, or Keyword;
• Access to thousands of educational resources and instructional content items developed by master teachers and content providers. The content is searchable by keyword or by “drilling down” the Learning Objectives tree to the Topic level to find related Units and Resources;
• Resources are aligned to the IB Learning Outcomes to the Topic level and have been peer-reviewed using the peer-review protocol established by the NYS Academy for Teaching and Learning (NYSATL);
• Access to IBLearns’ state-of-the-art tools for teachers;
• Access to IBLearns’ admin tool that allows identified district users to access the admin portion of the PYP/MYP Unit Plan creator and the DP Syllabi creator;
• Updates on all new tools and revisions to IBLearns.org.
